Why Personality Belongs in an AI Platform

Most AI platforms are built around the AI. The Sovereignty Protocol is built around the person using it.

If you are highly analytical and data-driven, your AI agents should communicate in structured formats, cite sources, and surface uncertainty explicitly. If you are vision-oriented and big-picture, your agents should lead with implications, not details. If you operate on intuition and move fast, your agents should be concise and action-oriented.

One-size-fits-all AI output is like a team where everyone communicates in exactly the same style regardless of audience. It works. It is also less effective than it could be.

MyDrives is the Sovereignty Protocol's answer to this.


The 6-Colour Framework

MyDrives categorises motivation and cognitive style across six colour archetypes, each representing a distinct drive:

๐ŸŸก Yellow โ€” Energy & Influence Motivated by connection, enthusiasm, and possibilities. Values creative ideas, social context, and the human dimension of decisions. Drawn to narratives over data tables.

๐ŸŸข Green โ€” Harmony & Patience Motivated by stability, relationships, and consistency. Values thoughtful consideration, consensus, and long-term sustainability. Prefers steady progress over rapid pivots.

๐Ÿ”ต Blue โ€” Precision & Logic Motivated by accuracy, systems, and quality. Values thorough analysis, evidence, and well-reasoned conclusions. Uncomfortable with assumptions or unsupported claims.

๐ŸŸฃ Purple โ€” Creativity & Intuition Motivated by originality, exploration, and meaning. Values novel approaches, unconventional thinking, and conceptual depth. Energised by ambiguity rather than frustrated by it.

๐ŸŸ  Orange โ€” Practicality & Efficiency Motivated by usefulness, optimisation, and getting things done. Values practical application, clear next steps, and efficient processes. Cuts through theory to implementation.


The Assessment

The MyDrives assessment is a 40-question instrument embedded in the platform. It takes approximately 8 minutes to complete. The questions are behavioural preference scenarios, not self-ratings โ€” you choose between two options that both describe reasonable people, revealing your natural inclinations through pattern analysis.

The output is your colour profile โ€” not a single type, but a blend showing your relative drive across all six colours. Most people have two or three dominant colours with lower scores in the others.

Your profile is stored in your account and updated whenever you retake the assessment. The platform tracks profile evolution over time โ€” drive patterns shift across life stages and circumstances, and the platform accommodates this.


How MyDrives Configures Your AI Experience

Your profile influences the platform in several ways:

Agent communication style โ€” Agents adapt their output format to your dominant drives. A Blue-dominant profile receives analysis-first responses with explicit evidence. A Red-dominant profile receives recommendation-first responses with the rationale available but not leading.

Cascade output format โ€” Nexus Reports generated for your account default to the structure that matches your profile. No configuration required โ€” your profile is automatically referenced.

Task prioritisation cues โ€” The task system surfaces priority indicators that align with your motivational style. Results-oriented users see impact and urgency cues. Precision-oriented users see completion criteria and quality metrics.

Dashboard layout preferences โ€” Dashboard components are ordered to surface what matters most to your profile by default, while remaining fully customisable.


Team Profiles and AI Workforce Alignment

For teams, MyDrives becomes a coordination tool.

When multiple users have completed their profiles, the team view shows the aggregate drive distribution across the team. This reveals:

  • Where the team has shared strengths (high consensus drives)
  • Where gaps exist (underrepresented drives that may create blind spots)
  • How to frame proposals and recommendations to land effectively with different team members

Agent personas can also be given drive profiles โ€” a Cipher agent configured with Blue/Red characteristics will communicate in a precise, results-oriented style that complements an analytical but decisive team. A Librarian agent configured with Blue/Purple characteristics will surface nuance and novel connections in its research.


Practical Application

Consider two users implementing the same security monitoring cascade. One is Red-dominant (results, speed). One is Blue-dominant (precision, evidence).

The Red-dominant user's cascade notifications lead with: "3 IPs banned in the last hour. Threat level: High. Action taken." The details are available on drill-down but do not surface by default.

The Blue-dominant user's cascade notifications lead with: "Security summary for 09:00โ€“10:00. 47 events processed. 3 bans applied (confidence โ‰ฅ 82%). 2 events flagged for manual review. Full log attached." The completeness of information comes first.

Same cascade. Same data. Different communication style. Both users get what they need to do their jobs effectively.


Self-Knowledge as a Platform Feature

Most productivity tools assume you already know how you work best. MyDrives takes the position that self-knowledge is a feature, not a prerequisite โ€” and that understanding your drives makes you more effective with both human collaborators and AI systems.

The assessment is free for all platform users. Your profile is yours, exportable, and not used for any purpose other than configuring your personal platform experience.
